The Spring Live Active Run 2016

We had assisted St. John Ambulance Sarawak in providing telecommunications to their personnel station throughout the route of the run on 05th June 2016. A total of 18 stations had supported this event. ARCS would like to thanks all the 18 stations.

Radio Amateur Exam Preparation Course Series 13/2016

The RAE Class was held on 6th December 2015 at Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah Bau. The course started from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The class was conducted by 9W8CH, 9W8KIF, 9M8WAT and 9W8PTS. There's also few stations that came to support. Thanks to the 'sifu' & all station for the support. Good luck to all the RAE candidates on 9th June 2016

Satang Besar Island Dxpedition, IOTA OC-165

The club had organised & run the Satang Besar Island Dxpedition, IOTA OC-165 from 30th April to 2nd May 2016 at Satang Besar Island. There's 7 operators, which are 9M8WAT, 9M8ADX, 9W8DEN, 9W8CH, 9W8KIF, 9W8PTS & 9W8FIZ operating the radio at 5 different HF band (80m, 40m, 20m, 15m & 10m)

Introduction of Amateur Radio during Uniform Combined Camp SMK Lake

The club had been invited to give an introduction of Amateur Radio to students from SMK Lake during their Uniform Combined Camp on 21st-24th April 2016. The club had sent 4 stations for support, which are 9W8HLK, 9W8GAD, 9W8JIP & 9W8CTT

• 3D2N estimated RM240.00 per person including accommodation and boat transfer. 
• All are welcome to participate. Registration close on 22/04/2016 5.00pm
• Club sponsor foods & drinks to all, additional subsidize RM40 for 3D2N participants.
• RM200 for 2D1N participants per person including accommodation and boat transfer.

1. World Amateur Radio Day on 18th April 2016 - participate from 1100 UTC to 1600 UTC (7.00pm - 12.00am MST) by using the callsign 9M8RC at clubhouse.

4. Buka puasa eyeball dinner in June 2016
5. Spring Run 2016 communication support on 05th June 2016

8. Lighthouse & Lightship weekend in Miri on 20th - 21st August 2016
9. NVIS Emergency communication simulation exercise in Sibu in September 2016
10. JOTA-JOTI for scouts in 2016 (Proposed in Bintulu) on 14th - 16th October 2016
