Radio Communication Practice & Simulation Program during Disaster

This program was organised by Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Sarawak Region & invited ARCS to co-organise the program. The program was held at Kampung Peninjau Lama, Bau on 7th November 2015 - 8th November 2015. The program was also joined by staff from other telecommunication company such Celcom, Digi, Maxis & Telekom. 
The program covered all over Bau including Tasik Biru & Tondong. The aim is to provide an overview of the Bau District response to emergency in the event of flash flood.

Beside using voice communication via radio, we also use Fldigi Narrow band Emergency Messaging Software (NBEMS) between Control Centre to Operation Centre & vice versa. The info will be convert to Radiogram Form as test & we can actually print out for reference.
