AMATEUR RADIO INTRODUCTION COURSE AT MIRI

Tun Datu Tunku Hj Bujang College had invited ARCS to hold a short course about Amateur Radio on 18th May 2013.
Most of the participants also will sit for the RAE exam on 26th June 2013. Principal of the college, Puan Hajah Hasimah was one of the participant and was really happy to attend this amateur radio course.
This course was also fully supported by Mr Gidah, Manager from SKMM Kuching branch .He had also shared his knowledge with the participant about role of SKMM in amateur radio. The course facilitators were 9M8DB, 9M8WAT and 9W8NK.
ARCS wish to take this opportunity to thank the Tunku HJ Bujang College principal, Pn Hajah Hasimah for allowing us to use the facility, SKMM and all the facilitators and local MIRI Ham members who had helped us to make this happening.

9M4LHM (Tanjong Dato Light House)

9M8ADX and 9M8WAT make short trip to 9M4LHM Light House, on 12th May 2013. The Light house position at the fartest west Borneo Island. Purpose for the servey is to see the compound of light house for DX-ing or for International Light house weekend.The journey take 1 hour by speed boat equiped with 200hp outboat engine from Sematan town.

9M8SYA trasnfered to ILP Kangar, Perlis, by that all ARCS AJK & members felt very thank full for his dedication and hard work as the club Secretary from 2012 till his transfer within this month.
