Announcement: CQ Merdeka 2016 (9M59MW)

In conjunction with the 59th Malaysia National Day on 31st August 2016, MARTS will be activating 14 special event callsign starting with 9M59Mx. Meanwhile, the club will operating the station using the callsign of '9M59MW'.

9M59MW will be on air from 27th August - 31st August 2016.

Stations will operate on and off from individual QTH in Kuching , East Malaysia OC-088.
QSL direct via 9W8KIF with 3GS + SASE.

19th ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL LIGHTHOUSE / LIGHTSHIP WEEKEND (ILLW)

The club had participated in the 19th Annual International Lighthouse / Lightship Weekend (ILLW) during 20th August & 21st August 2016 at Tanjung Lobang Lighthouse,Miri. The station master is 9M8WAT while the station manager is 9M8DB.
Beside ILLW activity, the club also organised a small introduction course for the sea scouts from Kolej Tuanku Haji Bujang, Miri & invited them to have a QSO in this ILLW activity.

The 5th Malaysia JOTA 2016 (Bintulu Station - 9M4CPB)

A few members from Sibu had been invited to assist in the Malaysia JOTA 2016 Bintulu Station on the 6/8/2016. The event was held at SMK Kemena, Bintulu. We would like to thank 9W8VAT, 9W8SIR, 9W8RBR, 9W8HRD & SWL Fairul with the assist of 9W8ALV (Station Manager) on support in this event.

Simunjan Scout District JOTA Introduction Workshop

In conjunction with the Malaysia Scout JOTA 2016, the club had been invited by the Simunjan Scout District on the 6/8/2016 as technical support for the said workshop at SK Sebangkoi Mawang, Simunjan. We would like to thank 9W8CH, 9W8GAD, 9W8HKL, 9W8CTT, 9W8DAR & 9M8ADX with the assist of 9M8WAT (station master) on support in this event.

ARCS old membership fee grace period expire

Dear Members,

 

On behalf of the secretariat , we would like to inform that the grace period for old membership fee had expired.

 

All existing and new member renewing from today onwards will be based on the new fee structure.

 

The club will now accept membership renewal of maximum up to 3 years in one payment.
